German News is the departmental newsletter, published quarterly and distributed to students, faculty, administrators, and friends of the department. It includes lead articles of general interest on topics pertaining to German studies, cultural and literary matters as well as major events of interest to the German scholarly community. In addition, columns with current information on study abroad, capsule course descriptions for the upcoming quarter, cultural events, and news about students and faculty are regular features.
