In this exercise you will hear a tex from a newspaper being read to you. You will be asked to chose the statements that are correct according to the information in the story.

Part 8: Completion Test
In the following short passage you will see a number of incomplete German words followed by blanks. For each blank, write in the missing letters to complete the words so that the passage makes sense in German. Here is an example:

The correct word completions contain either exactly the same number of letters as the first half of the word, or the first half plus one. For example, St___ could not be completed as Stadtteil (too many letters) but could be completed as Stadt . In the case of compound words, only the second part of the second word in the compound is missing. Please write clearly and be exact in your spelling. Remember, for each blank you are trying to complete the word already started by the letters preceding the blank.
